    Ensure the router is up off the floor and as in the open as possible.

    Position the router away from objects made from metals, concrete, stone, porcelain, or glass. These materials can cause physical interference to the Wi-Fi network.

    Position the router away from radio frequency (RF) emitting devices such as smart meters, baby monitors, home phones, Bluetooth devices, microwave ovens, or IoT devices.

  • 4. Try to make sure the router is as central to all devices needing to connect, with as few obstructions as possible (some physical materials and RF emitting devices can cause interference to the Wi-Fi signal.)
